Regular Active (Practicing Physicians): Physicians who have earned their doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree and are residing in and practicing in the United States

Government Employed

Semi-retired Physician: Physicians ages 65 or older and are working 1-20 hours per week

Retired Physician: Complimentary membership for physicians of any age who are fully retired from the practice of medicine

Resident: Complimentary membership for all physicians enrolled in accredited medical training or fellowship programs in Napa or Solano.

Medical Student: Complimentary membership for medical students; no dues are assessed for the duration of medical school.

NSMS accepts payment by check, Visa, and Mastercard. There are two options available to members to submit dues payments by credit card. You can remit a lump-sum payment with the option to pay in monthly installments, or you can set up rolling monthly payments that are charged automatically.

NSMS and CMA dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes, but may be partially deductible as a business expense. A portion of your NSMS and CMA dues are not deductible because of lobbying activities on behalf of members. To find out exactly how much of your dues are tax deductible, contact NSMS at
